| Progressive Music Center - Wake Forest

Established in 1992, Progressive Music Center is one of the largest music lesson facilities in North Carolina and is nationally recognized by NAMM and the music products industry as an innovative leader in music education. Our group and private lessons for acoustic and electric guitar, drum and percussion, piano, voice, bass guitar, saxophone and audio recording are taught by professional teachers with degrees in diverse fields of music and an extensive background in music education.
Our summer Rock Academy program that we founded in 1996 has been recognized as the first of the "School of Rock" band programs in the country and we continue to innovate the Rock School format with our Rock Academy summer camp programs and week long guitar, drum, piano and vocal camps.
Progressive Music Center has been featured on the cover of Music Inc. magazine, Entrepreneur magazine, and in featured stories in Modern Drummer, The Music Trades and Canadian Musician magazine. We hold seats on the NAMM President's Board, the Executive Board of the Percussion Marketing Council and are presenters on industry best practices at trade shows and conferences around United States and Europe.
