Joanne Riesz holds a degree in music from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio), and has maintained a private piano studio for thirty years. During that time she has also held positions serving as instructor in the Music Department at UNC-Wilmington, Kindermusik teacher, Executive Director of the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra, and is the immediate past president of the Cape Fear Music Teachers Association.
