Classical Piano Lessons in Chapel Hill
My studio offers classical piano instruction to dedicated students of all levels (ages 5+) including high school students who wish to major in music. I also offer lessons to advanced adult students.
The aim of my curriculum is to help students become a well-rounded, independent musician with a love of music. My students learn classical piano literature and technique while building a solid foundation in music theory. In addition to weekly lessons, students participate in monthly studio classes and recitals and festivals throughout the year.
After receiving my masters in piano performance and pedagogy from Northwestern University, I opened Yamazaki Piano Studio in 2009 to provide the highest quality of piano instruction to the Triangle area. Music is an art that is both personal and universal, and I believe that music can be an integral part of a person's identity.
